PRAY FOR CAMBODIA: Psalm 9:18 “ God will never forget the needy.”
Pray for the students who will be writing their Math test on Oct. 14 (Hoang, Huyen (Quyen), Bao) If they pass they will go to Grade 6.
Pray for the Children, for the start of school Oct. 24th
Pray for Viet, he has returned to Cambodia (he was in Vietnam for 100 days), he is sick. Pray for God to heal him!
Pray for doors to open for the children who need to get into a school (Hoa, Binh, Tien, and Den). WEC school said NO, “they are full!” They also struggle with the “bad behaviour” of the Vietnamese children and don’t want to deal with them.
Pray for God to protect and strengthen Nguyen and Hong as they minister in Cambodia.
Pray for Nguyen and Hong’s family, here in Canada, Timothy and Hong’s mother.
Pray for Kim as she will be speaking at Summit Oct. 9th
Praise the Lord, Kim has been speaking at several Vietnamese churches in the GTA & Hamilton. She is having a wonderful impact on the heart’s of the Vietnamese in Canada for Global missions.

We celebrated Nguyen’s birthday (Sep 30) with all the kids and our Bible group at the coffee shop. I planned it with the adults and the children. Men, Nhựt, Ha, Nhung, Thi, Pha, Tham put their money together to buy a birthday cake for Nguyen. How nice it was! My husband was so surprised, the kids were very quiet. Even the men’s group had breakfast with him in the morning. They gave him a big surprise when he came there. We had a good time together. Praise the Lord for the wonderful relationship that is being built between the Vietnamese dad’s and grandfather’s with Nguyen.

We went to the lake this morning (Saturday Oct.1) and took a group of our children. It’s important that our children learn to serve others. We love the children on the lake, it’s such a blessing to visit them. This month, the Vietnamese school children and families received rice, noodles, cakes/cookies and school supplies.

There is over 40,000 Vietnamese living on the Lake. This is an unreached area for the gospel, many have never heard of Jesus. The young girls is making a fishing net. They are very resourceful people.
